Happy Times!!

When you get up every morning,

To see someone waiting,

For you to open your eyes,

Happy Times it is!

When you get up every morning,

To see someone craving,

To begin the day with you,

Happy Times it is!

When you get up every morning,

To see someone longing,

For you to give a smile,

Happy Times it is!

To see someone adoring,

The very way you sleep,

Happy Times it is!

Loving the day ahead,

Loving the day that went behind,

Loving it all,

Coz of the presence-

                 of that somebody,

Happy Times it indeed is!!!

The Unknown

Walking in solitude I find,

So many many things undefined!

A lot of mysteries to unwind,

With no one to watch your behind!

Walking in solitude I realize,

Life is but a turn of dice!

Time now to become wise,

To be right without thinking twice!

Walking in solitude I come across,

A bottle of untouched sauce!

The difference to descirbe, I am at a loss,

But I sure am my own boss!

Walking in solitude the mystery unfolds,

Of the unseen,

Of the unheard,

Of the unknown ! 

JUST LET GO!!

Legs stretched and arms apart,

Jump like you never did before

Leap like you never have before

Then, you may sit and fart!

Eyes open, bright and wide,

Look like you never did before

See like you never have before

Your zeal, you never should hide!

Take the turns, try the twist,

Plunge like you never did before

Dive like you never have before

Walk in the road, full of mist!

Know not why, know not how,

Dance like you never did before

Waltz like you never have before

Do the thing, you didn't till now!

What is to gain?

By being this insane?

The joy, the thrill,

Not being run of the mill,

That ecstasy,

One can’t explain!

TWITTERING LITTLE BIRD

Oh twittering little bird,
Rising up higher and higher,
Flying away farther and farther,
Catching you, is now seeming to be absurd.

Oh twittering little bird,
I finally caught hold of you,
        or so I thought
You seemed to be mine
        until the sea remained blue
Indeed, it was too good to be true.

Oh twittering little bird,
Flew away you did,
Leaving me in a battle of sorts
Now I have to gear up to catch you again,
Or should I just stay in pain?

You escaped from my safe hands
You have now flown into unknown lands
Why you did this,
Of that I should not utter a word

Oh twittering little bird,
You have now gone so far,
That i can't see you anymore,
Finding you again will be hard chore
Coz you won't look and be same as before.

Dusty Road

I am walking on a dusty road,

Dusty, curvy and dark road it is

I am walking on a dusty road,

I know not where it leads

Black dust engulfs me,

I see not where I am going,

Dusty, curvy and dark road it is

I know not what I am doing

Blinded by the black dust I walk,

There is no hint of a cool breeze

I hit myself to a boulder or two

Dusty, curvy and dark road it is

Bats fly, squeak all along,

Dusty, curvy and dark road it is

I wonder why there is no one here,

Rather, I can’t see them with closed eyes

Will this road ever end?

Or I will just walk in circles?

Dusty, curvy and dark road it is

My heart, mind and body now trembles

I choose now not to think,

I care not what this brings

For now I’ll keep walking,

I will walk on this dusty road,

STUNNED EYES

 Those stunned eyes, sang a song,

The world didn't hear it though,

 Without a notice, moved along.

I did of course, hear the song,

And to hear it I always do long,

My ears are now full of that voice,

I would just stop in time there, if given a choice.

How that is this always happens,

How to answer this question I wonder,

There is no answer, I now surrender.

Let the whole world, fall apart now,

Let the aliens take over this human land,

Let whales start walking on the sand,

For me, it matters least,

Till I am able to hear the song.

The world doesn’t hear it still,

But then, how can the world hear the voice,

Or read the mind,

Or search the soul,

Or see the awe in those eyes,

Coz mine alone and mine they are,

To me alone they are meant to be.

Halted Train

I know not what is happening,

I know not if this indeed is pain,

Sitting in a halted train,

I am waiting for it to move again.

I know not why I am enveloped by the clouds,

A bit of sunshine I do desire,

Sitting inside a circle of fire,

I am waiting for this gloom to retire.

I know not the reason for these reason less woes,

The reason perhaps, hidden in the shadows,

I should brace through this path alone,

I am waiting for a bit of light to be shown.

I do know the reason perhaps,

For these very strange happenings inside me.

I do know the reason perhaps,

For those tears which I am scared to shed.

I do know the reason perhaps,

For walking alone on this twisty curvy path.

I do know the reason perhaps,

For running away from myself so.

Guide me, oh Lord,

Relieve me of this pain,

Sitting in a halted train,

I just wish it moves again.
