ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಾ

ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿದೆ ಅಮವಾಸ್ಯೆಯ ಕಗ್ಗತ್ತಲು,

ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಹರಡಿದೆ ಬರಗಾಲದ ಬರಡು.

ಬೆಳಕು ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ,

ನಾಡಿನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಲ್ಲ,

ಅಂಧಕಾರವೇ ಇದೆಯಲ್ಲ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ!

ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಕಪಟ ಜನ,

ಶುದ್ಧವಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರ ಮನ,

ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲೆ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ.

                             

ಪೂರ್ಣ ಚಂದ್ರನ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ,

ಬಾಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ,

ಉಸಿರು ತುಂಬುವರು ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಆ ಬೆಳಕ ತರುವುದಾದರೆ-

            ಸ್ವಾಗತ ನಿನಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯೇ,

ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಮಿಸುವೆ!

ನೀನು ಒಲಿದರೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿ,

ಆಗ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಸದ್ಗತಿ,

ಬಾ ತಾಯಿಯೇ,

            ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಾ!!

DREAMS!

A very very long time ago, I dreamt of the universe

The meteors, the shooting stars,

The Jupiter, Saturn and Mars

The alien wars,

And the yummy tomato sauce!

The childhood dreams!

A very long time ago, I dreamt of the skies

The jets, the pilots,

The rainbow colours,

Ever beautiful flowers!

I knew no break,

Convinced I was-

                my world wouldn’t shake.

The masti dreams!

A long time ago, I dreamt of bliss

The everlasting bliss,

With no work for me to do-

                I was the winner of every show!

Not an instance I frowned,

Thought I’ll be crowned!

The playful dreams!

Sometime ago, I dreamt of people-

Those who helped, those who cared,

And those who left me hurt and maimed.

Guys who made me stare!

Thoughts and feelings as never before-

Stared flowing into my heart,

Which before was never a part!

The lovey-dovey dreams!

Now, Now, Now is the time,

I dream of dreaming,

All the above things,

The innocence and the simple joys!

The uncomplicated living!

To those sweet memories I now cling,

A smile on my face, they fail not to bring!

With these in my heart, and the future ahead-

I strive to achieve,

Least a few of what I now dream!

A MaZe

Life is such a crazy game,

Not to be considered lame,

Coz,

If in the end, you have no trophy to claim,

You have only yourself to blame!!

Love is just a part of life,

With moments of spite and strife!

The joy love brings,

Makes you believe,

That, love makes you alive…

Realize, its just a belief,

Might lead you to greater grief;

Don’t stop loving though-

Loving someone or something perhaps,

IS the only way to go!!

Define your fashion,

Never hesitate to follow your passion!

Lead life with caution, and care,

But,

Not too much precaution,

Excitement is a must in this crazy warfare!! :-)

Warfare it is, but not to fight death !

To be dead, but to live on,

Should be your goal here on!

Contentment is definitely an asset,

But to achieve more,

Should also be your mindset!!

To go as your life takes,

is probably good;

But to take your life where you wish,

Is a Should!!
